The hotel Vijay had some bright spots. The room was clean, and the bed provided a comfortable sleep after a long day of exploring. I appreciated the accessible location, making it easy to navigate Madurai. there were issues that dampened my stay. The towels had a strong chemical smell, making them unusable, and the air conditioning remote wasn’t functioning well. there was no restaurant on the premises, and ordering room service required payment upfront, which wasn’t the best experience. The staff, while generally helpful, took excessive commission on the cab we booked through them. the hotel had potential but fell short in providing a fully satisfying experience.

Braw spot for a stay! The room was clean and comfy, and I loved being so close to the main attractions. Mr Satish at the reception was a pure gem, sorting me out with a trip to Rameswaram. But those pesky mosquitoes really took the joy down a notch!

Good spot for families

The location was super convenient for getting around Madurai! We had a decent time, with the room being okay and the front desk staff being pretty helpful. The only thing that bummed me out was the hot water situation. it wasn't reliable at all. They also don't have a restaurant, which was a little annoying.

friendly staff

Had a fun group trip here with friends! Rooms were clean, easily accommodating us. We visited the famous Meenakshi Temple and explored the Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace. Great location made it easy to get around. The staff was friendly, and check-in was smooth. Would recommend this spot for a friends' getaway!
